December 28, 2011 - Christmas Exodus

Graduation from Army Basic Training was on December 1st. I graduated as the Soldier of the Cycle which is a great honor. I am now enjoying time with my family while on Christmas Exodus but I will be going back to Advanced Individual Training soon. Throughout my training I have been writing and I look forward to publishing another book again soon. I hope that you had a Merry Christmas and that you will have a Happy New Year as well!

July20, 2011 - 2 months until Basic Training

I will be leaving for boot camp in September. I will be going active duty in the Army. My plans are to continue writing and to publish some more books after basic training.

I'll try to post another update or two before I go, but if not, I plan on giving updates once I am done with basic training.

January 22, 2011 - Update

I will be takign part in an event on Tuesday, January 25th, at the Pinellas Park Library. Unfortunately, I will not be reading my children's book, I'd Choose a Fish, or anyone else's book. I will be playing the part of the Chick-fil-A cow. The librarian did tell me to send her an email and that they should be able to let me take part in one of their upcomming programs. To me, that is really exciting news.

In my last blog, I mentioned that I had just taken part in the Turkey Trot, which takes place in Clearwater, FL, on Thanksgiving Day every year. It took all of my efforts to run that 5k (3.1 miles). Now, I run an average of two miles per day. I do not know if I will be participating in any more 5k runs again soon, but I look forward to improving my time when I do.

My wife is having a lot of fun making Kool-Aid items. This is a great way for us to encourage recycling. She started a website (www.supergreenlabel.com) and sells purses, wallets, keychains, backpacks, and many more items made entirely out of Kool-Aid and Capri Sun packages.

Our daughter is a year and a half old now. She is a lot of fun.

Thank you for checking my blog. Please continue to check back for updates. Also, please "like" my facebook page in order to receive the latest information.
