Happy New Year to everyone!
Today we celebrated with a nice dinner, my wife prepared, of ham and blackeye peas, mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. I have grown up in Tampa Bay where it is tradition to eat ham and blackeye peas on New Years Day for good luck the rest of the year. My wife, grew up in Pennsylvania Dutch country where it is tradition to eat pork and sauerkraut on New Years Day. Combining the two traditions makes for a very tasty meal.
Also, today my baby surprised us with her first tooth! We didn't really suspect that any were that close to the surface although she has enjoyed chewing on things in the past months. Today, she started sucking on my finger and I felt the jagged little tooth on the bottom. My wife and I were very excited and baby grinned from ear to ear to see us so happy.
As many of you know, This year, I am donating 50% of my book royalties to charity.
I would love for as many people as possible to help me to make this happen.
Here's how...
Step 1: Buy my books. (Search by name or title at www.lulu.com, www.publishamerica.com, or Amazon.com.
